British Art

We are all busily working on the next British Art exhibition at the Stow on the Wold gallery. It is a very British show. Titled: 'Uniquely British' the latest art promotion contains the gritty and honest art work of one of the gallery's most popular artists - John Lines. Today's featured image is one of the new art pieces ('Early Turn') which can be seen at the show later this month.

The latest artist to feature in Red Rag's Limited Edition Prints range is Anne Magill . Anne's art works are in Corporate Collections such as British Airways, Nike and Levi Strauss plus selected Private Collections including an astonishing list of Hollywood stars, directors and producers including Nicole Kidman - Russell Crowe - Josephine Hart.

Magill's images always facinate the viewer. The narrative compositions draw the viewer to speculatie on the possible relationships observed in the art works. The subjects of Anne's limited edition prints are placed in the twentieth century, but they have a timeless quality crossing back and forth over the generations.
